Just like we've mentioned previously, Oestrogen levels fluctuate wildly during your 40's. Remember those teen years....you're right back there.

In fact at times you could have higher oestrogen than ever before. Bet you didn't think of that!

Below are some of the symptoms commonly associated with HIGH oestrogen.

First off, let's start with the physical symptoms. Women with high oestrogen levels may experience:

  • Bloating
  • Breast tenderness or swelling
  • Weight gain
  • Changes in your menstrual cycle, such as heavier or longer periods
  • Spotting in between periods

High oestrogen levels can also cause mood swings and irritability. You may feel anxious, depressed, or just not like yourself. You may also experience headaches, fatigue, and difficulty sleeping.

In some cases, high oestrogen levels can also lead to more serious health issues, such as an increased risk of blood clots, strokes, and certain types of cancer.

It's important to note that many of these symptoms can also be caused by other factors, so if you're experiencing any of them, it's a good idea to speak with your health care practitioner.
